Happy New Year! Who else feels excited about the fresh start a new year brings? There’s something truly invigorating about having a blank page to fill in the months ahead. I always look forward to setting personal and business resolutions. While I’m not always successful in achieving them, the process of reflecting and writing them down is invaluable.

Recently, a policyholder took the time to write a heartfelt letter to my office. She’s facing health challenges and uncertain about what tomorrow holds, yet she ended with these touching words: “Please take care of yourselves and each other and try not to worry too much. I believe the reason we all exist is to learn about love, love ourselves, and share love with others. You don’t have to be perfect. May God bless you with an abundance of love! XOXO.” Beautiful words to ponder as we consider ways to improve ourselves in 2026.

This month also marks my birthday. I’ve never been particularly fond of having a January birthday—coming so soon after the holidays and during the coldest part of the year. But as I grow older and hopefully wiser, I’m grateful for another trip around the sun. I cherish my faith, family, health, business, and so many blessings in my life.
