Hello, August!

This month marks a milestone for Colorado—it's our 150th anniversary celebration! Colorado became the 38th state of the Union on August 1, 1876. I have been lucky enough to call this state home for 25 years, and I’m grateful to live here in this beautiful state.

It’s also time to enjoy the dog days of summer before back-to-school routines kick in. August starts strong with triple-digit temperatures in the forecast!

In our office, we’re celebrating too. We’ll be marking Michael and Ty’s birthdays and Ana’s 1-year work anniversary. We’ll be heading out to find a new favorite restaurant to celebrate together.

August is also peak season for us—University of Colorado students are signing leases, and we’re welcoming everyone back. It’s one of our busiest times for helping families get the coverage they need.
